Q: What are the benefits of using a pet sitter versus a kennel or boarder?

A: At PurrWaggles, we come straight to your house on your schedule. You and your pet can stay on your schedule with no worries. Your dog or cat gets to stay in the comfort of their home while you’re away and enjoy the companionship of a pet lover to play or walk them. 


Q: So you’re bonded and insured, what does that mean?

A: These are two separate policies and it is important that you choose a professional pet sitting company that provides you with both types of coverage. Insurance covers acts of willful negligence on the part of your pet sitter or the pet sitting company, and bonding covers acts of theft by your pet sitter or pet sitting company. 


Q: What if something happens to our pet while we are away?

A: Planning and being prepared is our practice. During our initial meet-and-greet, we will gather all critical vet and pet information. We will act quickly and contact you or your designees immediately. Your pet’s health and safety always comes first. 


Q: What does a pet sitter do?

A: We spend one-on-one time with your pet. No other distractions get in the way. We provide the personal service and consistency for your pet on a regular basis – same sitter, same home environment. 


Q: How flexible are your services?

A: We are set-up to meet your needs. We are constantly adding additional services based on our clients’ needs. Just let us know and we’ll work something out. 


Q: What types of payment do you accept?

A: Cash and checks. 


Q: I’m not very comfortable with a stranger in my house. What can you tell me to put my mind at ease?

A: We feel the same way. That’s why we begin with a meet-and greet to get to know each other. We are bonded and insured, a member of Pet Sitters International. Client references are readily available. 


Q: What is your pet-focused philosophy?

A: As a lifelong pet owner, my cats and dogs are a big part of my life and family. We put our pets first. And that’s how we operate. 


Q: What makes you different from other pet sitters?

A: We are doing what we love. You meet your pet sitter on day one; your pet sitter will not change. We’re small enough to accommodate your needs with a big heart for your pet’s well-being.

Q: What is a litter scooper service?

A: This service is designed for cat lovers who prefer to love on their cats and not clean up after them. Works well for pregnant or nursing women who shouldn’t get near cat litter. 


Q: Do you offer overnight service?

A: Yes. We know some pets are very accustomed to sleeping with their owners so we provide that service for minimal interruption to your pet. We’ll work out all the details with you in advance. Check out our services for more information.
